Board Meetings

Meetings are held at the Newton Public Schools Ed Center. If you are interested in joining our meeting, please contact president@masscec.org.

TIME CHANGE!! Due to planning for CEC 2008 in Boston meetings will now be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a light supper and networking. All members are invited to join us for our meeting.

Directions to the Ed Center

FROM MASS PIKE: Exit 17 (Newton Corner) onto Washington St. Go 4 sets of lights and take right onto Crafts St. (There will be a Whole Foods Store on the corner.) Go through set of lights - fire station on right. Ed Center is immediately on your left brick building. Looking at the building from the parking lot, enter at the back door on the right- #1.

FROM 128 NORTH: Exit 21 (Newton/Wellesley). Bear to right off exit onto Rt. 16E. Rt. 16 will bear left over the Mass Pike. At fork in road and set of lights, stay to right - Washington St. Approximately one mile take left at lights onto Walnut St. (On corner is Karoun Restaurant).
Go through set of lights - building is immediately on your right -- brick building. Park out front and go in front door or go around block to back parking lot and enter at the back door on the right-#1.

FROM 128 SOUTH: Exit 21A (Waban/West Newton) onto Rte. 16E. Rt. 16 will bear left over the Mass. Pike. At fork in road and set of lights, stay to right - Washington St. Approximately one mile take left at lights onto Walnut St. (On corner is Karoun Restaurant.) Go through set of lights - building is immediately on your right brick building. Park out front or go around block to back parking lot.

FROM RTE. 9: At Stop & Shop & set of lights on Rte. 9, take left on Woodland if coming from west (suburbs). Take right on Woodland if coming from east (Boston). At blinking red light, take right onto Lincoln St. At next set of lights take left on Walnut St. Follow Walnut St. several miles.
Pass over Turnpike on bridge and go through lights, continuing on Walnut St.
After the next set of lights, building is on the right - brick building.
Park out front or go around block and enter back parking lot.

FROM RTE. 16: Follow Rte. 16 into Newton. Rt. 16 will bear left over the Mass Pike. At fork in road and set of lights, stay to right - Washington St. Approximately 1/2 mile take left onto Walnut St. (On corner is Karoun Restaurant). Go through set of lights, building is on the right brick building. Park out front or go around block and enter back parking lot.
