The Massachusetts Model System for Educator Evaluation
Just Released (1/11/2012): www.doe.mass.edu/edeval/model/ The Model System is a comprehensive educator evaluation system designed by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (ESE), pursuant to the new educator evaluation regulation, 603 CMR 35.00. NCLB waivers announced, states and U.S. DOE committed to serving students with disabilities Ten states - including Massachusetts - received NCLB waivers, allowing them to replace NCLB targets with targets of their own. CEC will closely monitor implementation of the waivers, but believes states are committed to ensuring that students with disabilities will be included appropriately in accountability systems.
